Internet Explorer 8 is fully compliant with the CSS Level 2 Revision 1 (CSS2.1) specification and supports some features of CSS Level 3 (CSS3). Browser also supports upcoming HTML 5.
We think that major release of worldwide most used browser is significant event and web developers should make note of new IE8's features and improvements and provide additional checks for compatibility.
We already studied IE8's new features and happy to offer for our clients complete IE8 compatibility guarantee for five IE8's modes:
- Emulate IE8
- Emulate IE7
- IE8
- IE7
- Edge Mode
For last 3 months we provided tests on release candidate of new browser. But now we want to offer for all our clients with active technical support free compatibility testing for final release of new web browser. Just contact us and we will test your project under final IE8 free of charge (and fix mistakes, if any).
If you want to get IE8 compatible markup - order conversion of your now!

But this new release adds real headache for testers and web developers. Prior to IE8's release we had to test our markup in 3 IEs - IE6, IE7 for Vista, IE7 for XP.
Now we have to test at least in 5 modes for IE8 and continue to test under old IE6 and "real" IE7 (regardless of Microsoft assures that IE8 has emulation mode that works absolutely identical to IE7). Our QA guys will be happy
Quest's MSN Browser Tech support stated:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding Internet Explorer 8. Qwest's recommendations regarding Windows updates are to have the latest software available from Microsoft. There is a compatibility issue between IE 8 and the MSN software so if you sign into the butterfly software I would not recommend upgrading. If not then IE 8 should work just fine.
Confused over this issue????
Thanks
